apricot is a boy of little faith. early on in his life, he had discovered that there was very little worth believing in when things seemed to always turn out the same where ruin and trickery was unavoidable. there were few who deserved genuine trust and in complete and utter honestly, apri himself on good days did not seem to believe that he was worth others finding him to be a reliable figure when that was far from the truth. ironic as it was, the one thing that he seemed to believe in was that he did not deserve belief itself.

there was nothing in particular that he could boldly pick out from his past in order to help him in pinpointing why he thought that way. perhaps he was just the problem which would in complete honestly be quite fitting. it wasn't as if that would be the first time in his short life where he had been more so the issue than the solution. it was laughable and the male would have at least gently chuckled if it were not for the fact that he was the fool of a clown that was being laughed at.

"hello?" apri called out, his voice adrift on the wind that had caught the spoken words as soon as they left his mouth.

I LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU LOVED ME — Apricot is a boy of little faith. "Hello? I'm Apricot, here to uh, here to join." Apri called out with slight hesitance, his voice adrift on the wind that had caught the spoken words as soon as they left his mouth. The small abyssinian feline felt smaller than ever when he heard the way that his own voice came out as nothing more than the white breath of a smoker on a cold night. Ears angled back against his head, he hoped that the unintentionally soft spoken words were enough to achieve the intended goal of drawing attention to himself, doing his best to focus on the matter at hand as his mind shifted between deep thought and reality.

I LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU LOVED ME"Aurum." Apri said aloud after nodding in response to the echo of his own name, fictional brows furrowed slightly as he uttered the name of the leader as if he were tasting it on his tongue. After a few moments of internal contemplation, as if he were thinking about whether he was worth speaking such a name or instead simply referring to the leonine male as just 'sir', the youth allowed a gentle smile to carve itself into his lips, barely reaching his eyes yet still causing a slight glimmer within amber orbs. "Aurum, it's nice to meet you, sir." the feline added in a manner perhaps too formal for the setting but formality was the only thing that he was really comfortable with and as a result, he could not help but stick to his old habits. You could not teach an old dog new tricks, after all and so you could not teach a young Apricot new behaviours.

As his focus shifted onto the newcomer to the current situation, his mind could not help but wander ever so slightly. Disaster and heartbreak and always been something that followed him like a looming storm cloud with threatening rain no matter how hard he tried to avoid it. It was not as if he had intended on living the life that he had endured and it would be foolish for someone as young as him to completely give up yet it was difficult for him to think otherwise. Perhaps, the positive influence of someone as bright minded as the female before him would consequently be a positive impact on him yet it seemed that for the time being, he was unfortunately caught in his own bubble of negativity.

Meek smile spreading seemingly like wildfire across his features as he allowed his focus to fix solely on the kitsune, the young male dipped his head slightly in response to Airis' rather cheery greeting. It was quite nice to be face to face with others who were in relatively high spirits, the association seeming to ground him in a way. Although it didn't quite bring his mood as a whole up, it was enough to cause a genuine smile and that was good enough in the meantime. "Ah, thank you. It's nice to be here." he replied in his own airy tone with a 'miss' barely lingering on the tip of his tongue, words spoken as softly as before.

I LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU LOVED ME — Apricot was silent as he slunk over to join the duo of consisting of his fellow group mates in a relatively lax manner although one who was observing him particularly closely would have been able to take note of the fact that his owlish amber orbs did not stray from the canine. There was a reserved sense of caution clinging to his form like a faint shadow. It was difficult to catch unless you were looking for it and even then, it was much more like the ghost of a candle flame than the silhouette cast by the sun.

Currently, he did not see that it was his place to speak up in such situations. After all, he knew nothing about this Mingan and therefore deemed her to be decent off of the bat. However, if the experiences of the past had taught him anything, it was that he should know better than to trust a stranger. Or to trust anyone really. And, it seemed as if the leader had a spark of deep seated recognition within him which was not necessarily a good thing causing Apricot to remain in temporary neutrality in spite of the gentle smile that he cast in the direction of the other youth who could be only a little younger than himself.

I LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU LOVED ME — In his time as an... as an assistant, he had come across a plethora of various herbs and medicinal remedies to the point where although he was not comfortable using them, he believed that he had quite adequate knowledge in that aspect of the medical field. Consequently, the abyssinian feline found his paws near instinctively carrying him over to the small herb training that was ongoing, slightly grateful that there were so few people. It both indicated to him that aforementioned training had only just started and also gave him a slight boost in confidence. At least if he got anything wrong, there were minimal witnesses to laugh at him and mock him for the clown that he was.

Curiosity clearly aglow within his deep amber gaze, Apricot took in a whiff of the air, allowing the scent to fill his lungs and pool within him for a few moments before exhaling with brows furrowed softly. There was something stereotypically herbaceous about the scent that he was met with, his eyes drinking in the appearance of the herb on display by the host of the session. It was certainly familiar to him although seeing that he personally had never dabbled in herbs, the youth could not say for sure and therefore found himself adopting a faint sense of nervousness, like a schoolchild raising their hand to answer in spite of uncertainty where no one else would. "Thyme, right miss?" he inquired in the loudest tone he could, voice still as soft as ever and somehow retaining its usual hesitance as he spoke in spite of his attempted efforts to speak up a bit more, "Uh, I can't remember what it's used for though. Isn't it used to calm someone down?"

I LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU LOVED ME — Surprise shot through him like lightning, mouth slightly agape as if he were some kind of fish out of water. After perhaps a moment too much of the shock painting his features, the expression dissolved into a sheepish little smile. In complete and utter honesty, the abyssinian had not expected to actually get it right and there was something deeply gratifying about hearing the excitement in the voice of someone who was, to some extent, delighted in his contribution. At least all of the time he had spent around such herbs were not going unused. His old friends would have been so very proud of him.

"I, uh, I'm Apricot. I'm new here." he blurted out, the otherwise short and sweet statements tumbling from his tongue in a comprehendible mess. Hot flush burned underneath his fur, skin prickling at the metaphorical flames engulfing him in response to the attention that he had caused to be fixated on himself. It was no one else's fault but his own so it was not like he had much room to complain about anything. "I don't know too much about herbs. For the most part I can, um, I can identify what's what but not really remember what they do." Apri added, his words spoken in less of a whirlwind as he took a quiet yet deep breath to compose himself. He felt as if the clarification was necessary though. Just to ensure that everyone knew he was not some kind of prodigy. Just so they knew he was simply a little kitten who had merely happened to get something correct. He had never been one for getting other's hopes up, after all.

I LOVED YOU BEFORE YOU LOVED ME — It all seemed a little bit harsh. At least, that was what Apricot himself thought about the matter and he did not have any right to pass any kind of positive nor negative judgement on the situation. He had no idea what potential atrocities that the stranger could have committed and in a way, that therefore meant that he had no right to feel anything other than the profound sense of pity that he did feel in that moment, welling up within him like helium. Clearly, if the dawningcrown himself was behaving in such a harsh manner towards the being held captive, then Apricot could tell that they were not necessarily a very nice person and the young feline did not doubt that he must have done something very horrible to be in the situation that he was currently in. There was still a lingering feeling clouding his mind though which was why he found himself feeling quite reserved upon arriving to inspect what the cacophony had been.

The stranger had been singing in a rather, raucous manner, however the abyssinian was quick to think of how lonely and boring it must be, being kept prisoner in a place that was not one's own home. Regardless of the circumstances, the youth who was slow to believe in others was quick to feel sympathy that plucked at his ribs as if they were strings which was almost ironic. After all, it was only a natural reaction for someone to act out against the restraints placed upon them which was why Apri could not help but feel a little bad upon coming to a halt away from the others to observe in silently in both curiosity and internal empathy.

suncity "sunci" chase pairati matsuhina fazbear xerxes ( formerly known as elias )

    chicagocrimes xx victoria

    13 months // wolf/lion hybrid

    - sun seems to be much more of a wolf than a lion however, it is clearly evident that his genetics carry some lion as around his neck there is a thick mane of fur. he also appears to be a lot larger than the average wolf due to the partial lion that he carries and his overall build and structure strongly resembles a mixture of both the wildcat and the canine that make him up. his fur is a somewhat dark, dirty blonde colour and he has a pair of soft ruby coloured eyes. he also resembles victoria more as his teeth are somewhat similar to the sharks ones that his 'father' bares although his jagged fangs are not as prominent but are just as deadly.

    - suncity, seemingly unfortunately, carried down the traits of being a ghoul and a vampire from victoria and therefore also has cannibalistic tendencies. he will not however discover things like his kagune right away.

he speaks fluent swedish as he taught it to himself when he was young simply out of curiosity. he rarely speaks it with others however as and keeps his speech to the minimum in order to not confuse anyone.

sunci, personality wise, is a soft, intelligent being. a gentle giant, if you will. he is often mindful of others and will sometimes go out of his way to bring joy to others too whilst keeping an eye on how he acts himself. he is also incredibly protective of his family and will go to extensive lengths to keep his parents safe.

presently, he does not know where chica actually is and presumed that she is dead. he may stumble upon her at a later date however he might not recognise her and would probably panic as a result of guilt for leaving her alone if he were to see her ever again.

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET IT'S END

Many things had taken place in Elias' absence from the place that he had once, originally, called his own home. Things had changed beyond recognition, that was for sure, but it was undeniably home sweet home even if he believed that he would never be able to receive the same comfort that he had felt once upon a time when he was a young child residing with his mothers and siblings. Then again, he was not the same young boy that he used to be. Elias had grown up now, that was for sure. He had moulded from curious, bouncy little Elias into curious, bouncy, big Suncity. In complete honestly, not much had changed for the lion-wolf hybrid both in regards to temperament as well as appearance. When considering his looks, the most that had truly developed apart from the size of his body was the mane circling his throat like a puffed out solar flare of a noose. Although most things had stayed the same with minor adjustments in the boy- man, the only thing that had really and truly remained as a constant about him was the deep desire to see his mother at least one more time.

He had missed his mama. A lot.

Sunci did not even know if she was about and really he had been under the impression that she had left for good which would not have surprised him. Leaving her alone for so long, it was completely unforgivable of him and he was well aware of that so the idea that she could possibly see him once more, the thought of her staring at him with piercing eyes that were real and there in a form that he could reach out and touch, it honestly scared him. Guilt clung to him like smoke whenever he even considered what he had done. Worthless son was fitting for him and there would be no shock to be found in the details of his countenance if he were to be shunned by those that now lived in his home as his replacements that had slotted themselves well into the small Elias shaped hole that he had left behind. Part of him wanted those that he had once loved to hate him because no matter what he tried to do, he had still abandoned his family. It's that weight that causes his reluctance, large paws resting just on the edge of the borders as he finds himself battling with the idea that he is no longer wanted. Still, large maw parts like the red sea to call out to the rolling lands that he is so unfamiliar with in a manner that near entirely glosses over any and all hesitance that he holds in his blackened heart of gold.

"Hej, hello!" sounds friendly tones from cheery lips as the stray swedish greeting blossoms as a foreign flower on his tongue, the hybrid wearing his best impression of happiness against the blank canvas of his visage. "I'm Suncity, an old member just here to visit if that's not a problem."

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET IT'S END

Suncity had come directly to what he had hoped was Colouredclan's borders as soon as he had concluded his reunion with friends and family, the need to settle in somewhere that he could call home being more than he could handle. He would always be able to go back home when he pleased and see those that he loved so it did not trouble him to have to break away from mother dearest and home sweet home, or at least what had been his beloved home when he was a child. The hybrid was childishly excited for this new chapter of his life as he knew that he would be able to meet and make new friends and see many wondrous things that were foreign to him, the thill of discovery burning wildfires within the forests of his mind and he could not help but bounce on the spot ever so slightly upon coming to a halt where the invisible boundaries between Colouredclan and everything else stretched out wide.

It was quite amusing really, the comical juxtaposition of frighteningly fearsome appearance in comparison to saccharinely soft personality. In spite of the fact that the hybrid looked like a being that could tear anyone that he wanted to limb from limb, he was in fact simply a gentle giant. As soft as cotton swaying in the breeze of a lazy summer afternoon and as friendly as a child void of the tainted stains of reality. Perhaps that was because, even though Sunci had been separated from his family and loved ones and forced to grow up, he had still been one of the rare lucky few who were able to retain their purity and innocence. It was a good thing in many ways although not everyone would view it that way, his naivety sure to get him into a great deal of trouble one day.

"Hello! My name is Suncity, I was wondering if I would be allowed to join!" The words are filtered out of his lips, the sharp shark teeth in his mouth glinting slightly as they caught the light when the boy spoke. He wore an amiable smile against his lips that was made more prominent only when he stopped talking, soft ruby red gaze full to the brim with zeal as he glanced around for any signs of sentient life that had heard his cordial words of proposed joining. His mother had mentioned in passing that this would have been a good place for him to live in if he were to not want to join his home once more and he had taken her words to heart hence why he stood on the borders of a place that was unfamiliar to him though he hoped that he would be given the chance to change that.

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

First to arrive, at least by his standards, was quite small in comparison yet there's something about the way that she holds herself, her aura in his eyes, that makes her seem like she is ten times larger than Sunci himself. He doesn't mind though, the feeling is not a suffocating one and instead something that incites respect from the tame hybrid. Coupled with the input of those around him, the words of the one that had initially approached him ring out as music to his ears and he can not help but beam an amiable grin in her direction. "Thank you, I'll be as useful as I can around here." he announces as if his usefulness was something that could be stated so confidently without him doing anything the far, determination a bright gleam in vibrant eyes as he peers at Clover before his attention broadens to the others who had come to greet him.

"Ah, and thank you everyone else for the warm welcome. You can all call me Sunci for short, that's what I tend to go by most of the time anyways." talkative hybrid adds as more of a general statement, the melodious drawl of cheery words addressing those around him spilling like light from his maw. So many new and wonderful faces for the hybrid to meet, it was delightful. He could do little to keep the smile off of his face, pale ruby eyes greedily drinking in all of the appearances and features of those that were currently mere strangers to him in order to allow him to remember them at a later date when he was sure that remembrance would be necessary. They were a friendly bunch with quite the wide variety of names so he knows that it will be difficult for him to forget anyone unless he were forced to though he knows not of any situations that could happen to him personally that would result in such a grim fate.

Amongst the murmur of the small group that had come with kind words and saccharine smiles, he takes note of the youngest of the bunch firing out a nice little query to him. Other than his brief detour to the Sanctuary in order to reunite with mother dearest, he had not really had the opportunity to interact with others and therefore finds the prospect of indulging in a childish games to be absolutely riveting. "A game? That sounds like fun, what did you have in mind?" he starts, all of the eagerness of the young child that he still needed to grow out of rushing to the surface as blood to the skin. Hesitance shakes him however and his grin of zeal is reduced to a smaller smile of amicability with what one could interpret as hints of apology underneath. Sunci is quick to catch himself after the words leave his lips though and he draws his head back slightly with ears angled towards his skull. "I'd love to play a game with you but maybe after I get a bit more settled in. Does that sound good to you?" gentle giant hums, hoping that no offence is taken as consequence of his suggestion of temporary wait, focus shifting out to the others once more.

"Oh, right. Before I go on my way, is there anything important that I need to know?"

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

Unlike two out of the three present, Suncity had most certainly not been around for a long time, at least not within Colouredclan. His place of residence from his childhood years had been safe and sound within the Sanctuary yet even then, he had not really done much for himself other than get under his mother's paws and be a general nuisance (at least when he did not have his nose in a book). When reflecting on things now, he liked to think that he had not been as irritating as he initially had thought, his memories of youth warped due to his own over exaggeration in the past. The boy turned into young adult was much more accepting and nonchalant in regards to life though hence why he did not let something as minor as the feeling of being an outsider into a world that had existed long before he had stepped for on its lands. He could not change anything and had no reason to be ashamed of his differing birthplace and prior homes. What mattered was that he was here now so he had little reason to fret over something so minuscule.

Instead, he faced the situation with optimism set in his mind, the hybrid sauntering over to stand besides Clover where he unintentionally found himself towering somewhat over those gathered. "Karasunowing, did you say?" Suncity echos in search of confirmation, knowing just how embarrassing it would be for him to accidentally get the other male's name wrong simply because he had failed to listen properly in his zeal to make a new friend. Upon initial observation, he found it was safe to conclude that the guy seemed to be quite the delight which Sunci was not in opposition to. Truthfully, it was nice to see someone just as chipper as himself around so there is little that he can do to keep the radiant grin from his lips. "I'm Suncity but you can call me Sunci for short, and we definitely haven't met before but hey, there's a first for everything." the gentle giant muses in his usual talkative manner with nod of his head in greeting towards Karasu. "Welcome back! I don't know if I can be of much help but I'll lend a hand if you need it."

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

Despite the fact that he had not been a member for the group for too long, he can near immediately pick up on the face that there is something wrong as soon as he steps foot into the Great Hall that the leader's voice has summoned him to, instantaneous frown blossoming out across his features. There's something off-putting about the state that the leader seems to be in. Rasping voice and bitter coughs pain even Sunci to listen to can only prove to bring a slight frown onto his lips. He ensures that he listened closely to the announcements made though they are fairly basic, bringing news of recent events and warm welcomes to those that were both returning members and those that were joining. In this instance however, even the typical wonder of hearing his own name be uttered is not enough to bring joy to the face of the typically bright and jovial young male as he finds himself only concerned for the health of the Spectrum Commander, only letting out a soft hum in response with pale ruby eyes unwavering in their stare. Sunci was no healer but he certainly was not blind either hence the lingering expression of undisguised worry as even when he glanced around for a brief moment, he could tell that he was not the only one with concerned plaguing his mind at that moment in time.

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

Matters escalate fart further than Suncity had expected them to, at least in such a short amount of time. Attentively listening to the spoken words of the leader who addresses matters such as current events and typical things along those lines. It's the minor lapse into normality that seems to shake him the most when things go from bad to worse in mere moments. Happy mentions of promotion and the attempted ending of the meeting quickly reduced to a horrific sight. Sunci can only gawk with mouth ajar as he watches the dire wolf go down like a felled tree, his own muscles instantly tensing up painfully in alarmed physical response.

Chest heaving, the hybrid draws himself to his paws though he can not help but sway ever so slightly with the pressure of surprise still hazing unclear mind. The large male finds himself at a loss for what to do or how to react, still remaining in a robotic state. Rise and fall. Rise and fall. It's the least that he can do in a futile attempt to calm himself down when all he can hear in his ears is the screeching alarm bells of pure, unadulterated panic. Paws are frozen to the ground as if ice had moulded tight around them and was steadily climbing up his body with threats of suffocation. As much as he likes to believe that he has grown, it is simply fact that Suncity is and will always be the child that met others with bright smiles yet attempted to hide behind mother in the process. Yet, there were no bright smiles to be found here and no mother dearest to duck behind.

Instead, there was seemingly gravely injured leader, high tensions, and an overall feeling of dismay though he can not tell whether such an intense emotion is truly palpable in the air or if it is in actual fact one of the many feelings buzzing around as angered bees within him. Part of him, the illogical and oh so bold aspect of the youth, wants to provide help in some way that he can. Suncity is quick to force that from his mind however, eager to acknowledge the fact that it is a foolish and almost selfish thought. He will not be any good when he had already proven that freezing up was the best that he was capable of. Seeing that he was no good in a crisis, the best help that he can be to those responsible for healing and for Gilbert himself is to be as far away as possible from the group in order to allow them to work their magic. As difficult as it is for him to do so, he breaks free from terrified shackles owlish blood red eyes unwavering from the scene unfolding even as he stumbles back out of the room on trembling paws.

    Gods, let Gilbert be fine.

    /out but w o w i'm shook

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

Exchanging words between stranger and clan mates is what draws the attention of Suncity on that particular occasion, the hybrid's ears perking almost instinctively in a physical gesture of curiosity. Few strides bring him to the side of Arachnophobia where he casts a cheery grin to both familiar faces and the new face that he must learn. There is little to no issue with having to learn yet another individual as in his own mind, it's always an immensely interesting experience to meet and discover more about those that he had a lack of knowledge on. Strangers were just friends yet to be made, after all. Such a sentiment seemed rather childish but seeing that it had gotten Sunci through life quiet well thus far, he could hardly oppose his own ideas in favour of growing up. "Hey, it's great to have you here, Peaches, I'm sure you'll love it." eventual words slip from amiable tongue as bright eyes fix themselves upon the star of the show, choosing to speak only after those currently present have had their own input.

Pale ruby eyes sweep over the foreign feline in brief analysis as he falls into momentary quiet. He takes silent note of seemingly ever present smirk with internal intrigue though does not comment on it aloud for a wide variety of reasons, mainly because though the male is quite talkative and oftentimes will simply state what is on his mind like a loose lipped child, he knows when it is and is not appropriate to address certain things. The air of arrogance that he seems to detect is not something that is an urgent matter nor is it really an issue at all. If anything, it would have just been something for Sunci to try and make conversation with though he highly doubts that it would be a good starting off conversation point for the time being. So, tongue is held in that respect and instead blurts out amicable introduction. "I'm Suncity, it's really great to meet you."

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

Though he had not been the one who had been called for, the male finds it near impossible to sate his curiosity by ignoring the matter and instead finds himself quick to stick his nose in business that does not necessarily concern him simply because of the small bubbles of concern that take shape within his chest. And so, the gentle giant veers from his path to unimportant destination in order to come to stand a respectable distance from the pair with clear concern evident in his gaze which comes to linger on Arachnophobia after a nervous glance is shot in Ophidiophobia's direction. "Ah, ladies. Is everything alright?" As foolish as the question is, it is the best that he can conjure up with such little knowledge of the situation that he had happened to stumble across. Still, it seems to be his best bet to try and figure out something from the lips of either being present if they are willing to disclose whatever appears to be the problem with him.

☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET ITS END

"This certainly sounds like fun." affable youth chimes in with light chuckle as he approaches the group at a light jog to ensure that he can catch the beginnings of the patrol before they set off and leave him trailing behind. As with most tasks, he finds it hard to not be entirely enthusiastic about what they are doing, set on making the herb searching experience an enjoyable one even if it typically could tend to be quite a mind numbing and menial chore. When with the right individuals however, any job, as boring as many may believe it to be, can be made into something quite entertaining. "Goldenrod, marigold, and catmint. Got it." Suncity echoes out loud as if attempting to get the names of the specified herbs set within his mind before he makes the mistake of perhaps plucking the wrong plant from its place in the earth. He was sure that no description would be necessary for himself personally, having picked up basic herbs and their appearances from his younger years (or at least younger than he was now) when living in the Sanctuary. Be that as it may, he still figures that others may be in need of some guidance from their resident herbalist so he refuses to speak for them all, curious ruby gaze instead being left to drift from face to face of those gathered as he awaited further instruction.
